Let me explain why I haven't blogged in a while.
When I was a child, I was always very healthy. I had rosy cheeks, and plenty of energy. My poor sister, on the other hand, was often pale. She often suffered from headaches, and she often felt poorly. Of course I felt that she was getting much more attention from our parents. Ah, I just wanted to be pale! I wanted to look as though I were suffering. Do you remember Heidi's friend Clara? The poor thing was fading. I always pictured her draped on a divan, suffering. I tried to picture myself in her stead.
I didn't give much thought to what it would be like to actually be sick, I just wanted to look like it sometimes. Was that too much to ask?
Here comes the part about being careful what you wish for, you might just get it. Well, I got it. I've had a number of health issues, and I now get my rosy cheeks from a tube.
I'm sure I'll be fine soon, and then I will share pictures of spring flowers in my garden.
Oma!! I hope you feel much much better soon. I'm sure you will. In the meantime, I'll bring the boys over to cheer you up (and hopefully not exhaust you too much!).
